Jim P. Manzi , Chairman of the Board

Mr. Manzi has been a director of the Company since May 2000 and Chairman of the Board since May 2007. He also served as Chairman of the Board from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Manzi is founder and Chairman of Stonegate Capital, a firm that manages private equity investment activities in technology startup ventures, primarily related to the Internet. Previously, he served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lotus Development Corporation, a software manufacturer that was acquired by IBM Corporation in 1995. He serves as Chairman of the Board and director for Fresh Direct Holdings, Skyword, Inc., and StoneGate Capital Group LLC. He is also a director at TitBit Pte. Ltd, Continental Grain Company Corp., Gather Inc., Paxos Technology Solutions, LLC and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Marc N. Casper , Director

Mr. Casper has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific since October 2009. He joined the company in 2001 as President of the Life Sciences sector of Thermo Electron. He was named Senior Vice President in 2003, and in 2005 was given responsibility for all of the company’s operating divisions. After the merger creating Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2006, Marc was named President, Analytical Technologies, and in 2008 was named Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Thermo Fisher, Marc served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Kendro Laboratory Products. Before Kendro, he worked for clinical diagnostics provider Dade Behring Inc., where he served as President – Americas. Marc began his career at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant and later joined Bain Capital.

Marc received an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School and is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. Marc serves on the Brigham & Women’s Hospital Board of Trustees, US-China Business Council and the Massachusetts Math & Science Initiative. He is also a member of the Business Roundtable, an association of CEOs of leading U.S. companies. He is currently a director of U.S. Bancorp and was previously a director of the Advisory Board Company and Zimmer Holdings.

Nelson J. Chai , Director

Mr. Chai has been a director of the Company since December 2010. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of The Warranty Group, a leading global provider of warranty solutions and underwriting services. Previously he was President of CIT Group, Inc.. Mr. Chai also served as Chief Financial Officer of Merrill Lynch & Co., NYSE Euronext, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, and Archipelago Holdings. Mr. Chai is currently a director of The Warranty Group.

C. Martin Harris , MD , Director

Dr. Harris has been a director of the Company since March 2012. He is currently Associate Vice President of the Health Enterprise and Chief Business Officer of the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. Previously, he was CIO and Chairman of the Information Technology Division, as well as a Staff Physician at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Department of General Internal Medicine. He also served as a Staff Physician for the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. He is currently a director of Invacare Corporation, HealthStream, Inc. and Colgate-Palmolive Company.

Tyler Jacks , PhD , Director

Dr. Jacks has been a director of the Company since May 2009. He is the David H. Koch Professor of Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and director of the David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research. He is also an investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, a non-profit medical research organization. Previously he was director of the MIT Center for Cancer Research. He currently serves as a director of Amgen Inc.

Judy C. Lewent , Director

Ms. Lewent has been a director of the Company since May 2008. Until her retirement in 2007, she was Chief Financial Officer of Merck & Co., Inc., where she was responsible for worldwide financial, corporate development and licensing matters, as well as for strategic planning. She also served as President, Human Health Asia. She is also currently a director of GlaxoSmithKline PLC.

Thomas J. Lynch , Director

Mr. Lynch has been a director of the Company since May 2009. He is currently Executive Chairman of the Board of TE Connectivity Ltd. (formerly Tyco Electronics Ltd.), where he also served as the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, Mr. Lynch was Chief Executive Officer and President of Tyco Engineered Products & Services. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Motorola and President and Chief Executive Officer of Motorola’s Personal Communications sector. Mr. Lynch is currently a director of TE Connectivity Ltd. and Cummins Inc. He also serves on the board of trustees for Rider University.

William G. Parrett , Director

Mr. Parrett has been a director of the Company since June 2008. Prior to his retirement in November 2007, he was Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where he also held a series of roles of increasing responsibility, including Managing Partner of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. He is currently a director and chairman of the Audit Committees for the Blackstone Group LP, Eastman Kodak Company and UBS AG. He also serves as a director of Conduent Inc., and was previously a director of iGATE Corporation.

Lars R. Sørensen , Director

Mr. Sørensen has been a director of the Company since May 2016. He also served as a director of the Company from 2011 to 2015. Most recently, Mr. Sorensen was President and Chief Executive Officer of Novo Nordisk A/S, where he also held several senior management roles. He currently serves as a member of the supervisory board of Bertelsmann AG, Carlsberg A/S, and Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget A/B.

Scott M. Sperling , Director

Mr. Sperling has been a director of the Company since November 2006. Prior to the merger of Thermo Electron Corporation and Fisher Scientific International Inc., he was a director of Fisher Scientific from 1998 to 2006. Mr. Sperling is currently Co-President of Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P., a leveraged buyout firm. Previously he was managing partner of The Aeneas Group, Inc., the private capital affiliate of Harvard Management Company, as well as a senior consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. He is currently a director of iHeartMedia, Inc. and The Madison Square Garden Company.

Elaine S. Ullian , Director

Ms. Ullian has been a director of the Company since July 2001. Prior to her retirement in 2010, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Boston Medical Center. She previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Boston University Medical Center Hospital and Faulkner Hospital. She is also a director of Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Hologic Inc.

Dion J. Weisler , Director

Mr. Weisler, has been a director of the Company since March 2017. He is President and Chief Executive Officer of HP Inc., where he also served as both Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of Printing and Personal Systems. He is currently a director of HP Inc.
